After converting your store from CPF to CNPJ, you will need to adapt your store's operations to issue invoices. This is a mandatory step to continue selling correctly.
Check out the steps:
✅ Have an accounting firm responsible for your CNPJ.
✅ Request from your accounting firm the authorization to issue Electronic Invoice (NF-e) with the State Revenue Service. This approval may take a few days.
✅ Choose how you will issue your invoices:
* Through Shopee itself; or
* Through Bling, which is a management system (ERP) integrated with Shopee. Bling automates invoice issuance, synchronizes orders and facilitates operation management, being the option used by most sellers.
✅ If you choose Bling, you will need to:
* Create an account on Bling.
* Integrate your Shopee store with the system.
* Configure invoice issuance according to your accounting firm's guidelines.
* Register products and define tax rules, when necessary.
✅ It is also essential to have the incoming invoices for the goods. They are issued by the supplier (or by you, if you are the manufacturer) and serve to record the entry of products, allowing the correct issuance of outgoing invoices.
Important: the migration from CPF to CNPJ does not end when the change is made on Shopee. The issuance of invoices depends on the completion of all these tax settings and authorization from the State Revenue Service. That's why it's normal for this process to take a few days.
